Get to know Paul:

Every one who walks through the door at ILF has at least heard our March member of the month Paul Ross. Paul continues to impress us with his passion and determination to improve his fitness. You’re one of the lucky ones if you get to WOD with Paul and hear any of his “Paulims.”

Things you may not know about Paul:

Paul has been Crossfitting since March 12th, 2015. He started with the goal to lose weight and since 2015 has lost 60 pounds. He owns an excavation company called Dirt Works in Tacoma and is lucky enough to work with his wife Renee and oldest daughter daily.

Paul has lived in Washington most of his life and loves fishing. He recently has taken up yoga and loves it! His fitness related goals include being more mobile and being able to chase his 2 grand-kids around.

What Coaches think about Paul:

“Paul Ross is one of the most kind, generous, and thoughtful people I know. He embodies community and is always committed to making sure everyone in the room feel welcome and loved. Paul has determination and drive like no one else, he is one of the hardest workers I know. He is an incredibly intelligent business owner, dedicated husband and father, and doting grandpa. You don’t get much better than Paul, and ILF is blessed to have him.” – Susie Arbore

“Paul has the will to participate in multiple classes a day despite the difficulty. He is a joy to have in class and workout with! He is so welcoming to everyone that walks in the gym and is always willing to help anyone in need. Paul serves as an inspiration and positive role model to all who have been lucky enough to share a WOD with him.” – Leah Williams

“Paul is one of a kind. Always willing to make anyone new who walks into our door feel like they’ve been a part of the ILF community forever. I’ve never met anyone who can bring a smile to someone’s face as quickly as him! We love you more Paul, call me when you get home!” -Lisa McCann
